The Whittemore House is a conference center and private club for faculty, staff and friends of Washington University. This historic house is an integral part of campus life. Originally constructed in 1912, Whittemore House opened as a conference center in 1969 after being renovated. With private meeting rooms, comfortable sitting rooms, an inviting veranda and a large dining room, Whittemore House is able to serve member's and guests' special event needs. Available also for non-members who may be sponsored by a Whittemore House member, it creates a warm, inviting atmosphere for your next celebration.
